Blog Prompt: If you could have any animal, real or fictional, as your pet/sidekick, what would it be?

for fiction: not even a question. i'd want the disreputable dog for however long she could tolerate me 

for realsies: a velociraptor so i could be chris pratt-ified and get abs. not like i would sic it on people or anything...

but a DRAGON would be coolest of all
